Gregory's Farm Brimstage Hall, Brimstage, Wirral. The Maize Maze is a great family friendly day out that is "much more than a maze". As well as the main maze which will take around one and a half hours to complete, there is a smaller maze for the not so brave which takes just 30 minutes. There is a large picnic and play area which this year sees the introduction of some great new adventure play.
You can also take part in the wacky pedal kart races through the maize, enjoy a great range of mini puzzles and games or try your hand at panning for gems in the improved "Brimstage Gem Mine" (additional charge of £1 to purchase a bag of mining rough). Enjoy the giant sand pit, the bale bounce , trailer ride and farm animals.
Each year the maze is created in a field of growing maize (similar to sweetcorn) the 7 acre maze. Each year brings a brand new design, which to be fully appreciated has to be seen from the air.
The maize maze is easy to find just off junction 4 of the M53 on the A5137 Bebington to Heswall road, at Brimstage Hall and Craft Centre
For public transport you will need to catch the 85 bus from Heswall bus station which stops at the end of Talbot Avenue, from where it is a short walk to the craft centre and the maze, this bus links to both Heswall and Eastham Rake stations, for up to date times contact Mersey Travel on 0870 608 2608.
