Traditional Candle Making
Candle making has been part of the beautiful rural scenery at Burwardsley for over 50 years when our unique hand carved candles were first made. We practice ancient candle making skills and still dip our candles using the same techniques as years ago.
Our sculptured candles remain a favourite with visitors. There will be the opportunity to admire the skill of the candle makers at work - candle carving demonstrations can be arranged for groups by prior request.
This is more than just a 'look and buy' experience, our craftsmen will be pleased to create a candle to your specification whilst you wait. Personalised candles are imaginative gifts that generate the most treasured and warm memories.
The Candle Shop
Open 7 days per week from 10.00am until 5.00pm, the Candle Shop offers a vast choice of candles in many shapes colours, fragrances and decorative styles, for indoors or outdoors, to suit all occasions, and to suit all budgets. We also stock a wide variety of candle accessories from t-lite holders and candlesticks to garden lanterns.
