The Buckley Society is a local society based in Flintshire North Wales, dedicated to promoting historical interest in the Buckley area.
We collect and publish all available information and materials relating to Buckley and District in an annual magazine and arrange monthly talks at Hawkesbury Community Centre. A team of members and volunteers also compile an archive on computer of photographs, documents and information of interest which is sold on disk.
October 2008 saw the largest audience in the Society's history in attendance at any meeting . Seventy seven people attended of which sixty five became full members for the year.
