Join us for a not to be missed Summer’s evening of gin sampling at the wonderful Chester Beer and Wine shop in Hoole on 18th August. With space for only 30 guests, this exclusive and intimate event offers the opportunity to learn everything about the gin-making process, to ask any gin-related questions whilst sampling a whole range of very different gins, hosted by the enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable owner – Samantha Jackson. Tickets are £20, which includes all gins for the evening plus a selection of canapes. There will also be the opportunity to purchase anything you enjoyed tasting.
NMC's first Santa Stroll will be taking place at Westminster Park, Chester, on Sunday 4th December
Starting and finishing in front of Westminster Park's café at 12 noon.
Westminster Park is located off Hough Green, Chester. Postcode CH4 8JQ.
Arrive anytime from 11.15am to collect your Santa hat, which is included in the entry price. The walk will start at 12 noon and is approximately 5km in distance. It is completely accessible.
Santa Stroll is a sponsored walk with a bit of a difference - there will be a mulled wine station along the route (hot chocolate available for under 18s) to re-fuel for the remainder of the walk!
This walk is suitable for all ages and levels of ability and Christmas fancy dress is also encouraged!
Upon completion, we will be handing out Christmas stockings to you all with an early Christmas present.
Entry is £7.50 for adults and £5 for children under 16 (under 5s go free). Entry includes Santa hats, which will be given out on the day rather than posted in advance, mulled wine/hot chocolate and a Christmas stocking.
Sponsorship forms will also be sent out by post when you sign up, though there is no minimum sponsorship requirement to take part.
Spirit of Christmas
A truly magical evening that awaits you at Chester Cathedral on Friday 25th November, ensuring the festive season starts with a sparkle for the great and good of Cheshire. Matthew Kelly invites you to The Neuromuscular Centre's Spirit of Christmas, the annual concert of festive readings and music.
With several stars of stage, television and film, our 21st Spirit of Christmas promises to be a glitzy and glamorous affair, complete with plenty of Champagne to follow.
We are also delighted to welcome back the wonderful Robert's Bakery Band and The Queen's School Chamber Choir to get Christmas off to a cracking start. During the run up to the event we also launch a county-wide Choir Competition for Primary School children between the ages of 7 and 11, kindly sponsored by Dawsons Music in association with Chester's Dee Radio 106.3. The winning choir will have the opportunity to perform at Spirit of Christmas 2016 in front of an audience of 1000+ and will also receive a digital piano for their school.
