TALENTED Wrexham people of all ages will be supporting this weekend’s street festival in the town.
The street festival – which also marks Small Business Saturday – will take place this Saturday, December 3 and a range of entertainment will be on hand to keep visitors to the town entertained.
Among those taking part will be the County Senior Brass band, who will be playing carols; groups from Ysgol Bro Alyn and Ysgol Penrhyn, local taxi driver and singer Gary Rowley, who has worked with The Vic Recording Studio in the town.
Also performing are singer Luke Gallagher, Gateway Church Carol Singers, and the Dancing Shoes group.
Wrexham MP Ian Lucas, who has helped organise the entertainment, said: “Wrexham’s Street Festivals are a team effort and I’d like to thank all the groups who are giving up their time to come and take part.
“They will be helping to make the event a little bit more special – and it is great to see local people giving positive support to our town.”
Entertainment will be in the Chester Street area between 10.30am and 3.30pm.
