Starbucks Reserve® Panama Paso Ancho The limited harvest comes from award winning Carmen Estate and several neighbouring farms. Low-yielding trees allow the cherries to ripen with an astonishing uniformity, while sunny days, frost-free nights and the rich, volcanic soil of Panama's highest peak, looming high above the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, provide the perfect environment for this coffee to develop its amazing character.
Starbucks Reserve® Sun-Dried Sumatra Until now, we’ve never offered a sun-dried coffee from Sumatra – a country renowned more for its semi-washed coffees – where a determined generation of farmers is challenging tradition to coax bold, unexpected flavors from the beans. Native to Sumatra, this Rasuna varietal is cultivated on the Wahana Estate, where it matures slowly in the shade of native trees. Once ripe, the cherries are handpicked and laid out in the sun to dry with the pulp on, infusing each bean with the fruit’s natural sweetness.
Starbucks Reserve® Hawaii Ka’u The Ka’u region, which borders Kona on the island of Hawaii, has been recognised for its award-winning coffee and is home to these beans, cultivated on the slopes of Mauna Loa. The delicate tropical flavours captivated our buyers beyond expectation, leaving no doubt that we had to share this rare sip. Handpicked and processed in small batches by family farmers devoted to Hawaiian tradition, this coffee is the latest wonder from paradise.
